Use Advisor Reports(MyAdvisees)

  • Each campus-wide academic advisor has access to Advisor Reports(MyAdvisees) through MyUNIverse
  • Go to the "Reporting" tab and under the "My Workspaces" area you will find Advisor Reports (MyAdvisees)
  • For the remaining weeks of the semester you may find these reports of your assigned advisses useful for your work and communication:
    • Term Registration *Assigned* (for your specific assigned advisees)
      • Not Enrolled: with Appointment
        • List of students not enrolled for a specific term entered (i.e. Spring 2024 semester) including assigned registration date/time
      • Not Full-Time
        • List of students who are not enrolled for a specific term entered
      • Advisees with Holds
        • List of students who have registration holds which may prevent a student from registering for a specific term entered
    • Acad Standing/Grades *Assigned* (for your specific assigned advisees)
      • Mid Term Grades
      • Final Grades (C, D and F)
      • Final Grades (All)
      • Academic Standing After Term
      • Cumulative GPA
      • Major/Minor (Plan) GPA

Advisor KNOW HOW: Understanding Term Codes
  • Several reports highlighted above (and many others SIS reports) include prompts for the term you are seeking information for a student(s) 
  • Review this breakdown of the term code (e.g. 2233 for the Spring 2024 semester) for your understanding:
    • Digits 1-3 indicate the Catalog Year start (with dropping digit 2 of the year)
      • Examples:  2023 = 2X23 = 223 | 2024 = 2X24 = 224
    • Digit 4 indicates the semester term (Note: UNI catalogs start with summer)
      • 1 = Summer | 2 = Fall | 3 = Spring
      • Examples: 2231 = Summer 2023 | 2232 = Fall 2023 | 2233 = Spring 2024
