Student Accounts and the Past U Bill Hold
- The Office of Business Operations generates an electronic university bill (U-Bill) on the first business day of every month and is due on the 20th (use this link to see specific 2023-24 Due Dates)
- Note: If the due date falls on a weekend, the due date is the first business day following
- An email notification is sent to each student's UNI email address when the bill is available (paper copies are not mailed)
- Students can view their bill, pay their bill, or enroll in a payment plan online at www.uni.edu via MyUNIverse on the Student Center tab.
- Past U Bill Hold - A student will have this hold placed on their semester registration if their balance is $500 or greater and have no balance due older than 90 days
- Payment plan options are still available for the 5 month deferment plan until February 20, 2024
- Once a student account has been placed in collections, the balance must be paid in full before the student can enroll in classes for a future term.
- Please direct students to Tristan Aldous, Student Financials Counselor in the Office of Business Operations with questions and for specific information on account balances and removing Past U Bill hold
- Please note that the Office of Business Operations does not remove a Past U Bill Hold for 24 hours to allow a student to register for classes for a semester

Student Award Nominations
- The Office of the Dean of Students is now accepting nominations for three different awards:
- Lux Service Award
- Outstanding Student Leader Award
- Servant Leadership Award
- Details about all awards are available on the Student Leadership Awards/Dean of Students website
- Nominations for the Lux Service, Outstanding Student Leader, and Servant Leadership awards are simple and available through this nomination form. Deadline for nominations is Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 4:30 p.m.
- Your support in submitting nominations is appreciated and multiple student nominations from an individual is permitted.
- The nominees and recipients for these awards will be recognized during the Student Leadership Awards ceremony on April 16, 2024.
