• MUSIC 1100 Soundscapes in May 2023
  • MUSIC 1100 Soundscapes: Music in Culture will be taught in the May 2023 term as an online asynchronous course by Dr. Michelle Swanson.

• New Course in Computer Science for UNIFI Data Science Certificate
  • The Computer Science Department will be offering the new course CS 1170 Introductory Programming for Data Science in the Fall 2023 semester.
    • Explores use of software development and tools to explore data sets, find patterns, and solve complex problems in the area of data science. Topics include introductory programming methodologies, data visualization, and an introduction to data mining.
  • This course will satisfy a requirement in the new UNIFI Data Science certificate.:
