Drop-In Hours for Advising Center
- Wilson College of Business
- The Office for Professional Distinction (OPD) in the Wilson College of Business will provide walk-in appointments for students during the first week of classes at the following times:
- Monday, August 26th - Friday, August 30th | 9AM -12PM and 1PM - 4PM | In Person: CBB 5 | Zoom: Join here
- If a student or advisor cannot add an open business course to a student’s schedule due to an error message, please do not override/enroll them in the class. Send them to the OPD for assistance.
- Students can also email our office directly with questions anytime at opd@uni.edu.

- The advising team in the College of Education Advising & Teacher Education Success (CATS) Office will provide walk-in appointments for students during the first week of classes at the following times:
- Monday, August 26th - Friday, August 30th | 8:30AM-12:00PM and 1:00PM-4:00PM | In Person: Schindler Education Center (SEC) 151 | Zoom: Join here
- Appointments will be first come, first served and will be geared towards registration & Fall class related questions. Long Term Plan appointments will not be offered during week 1 drop-ins. Long term appointments will start the week of September 3rd.
- For all new Teaching majors! Future Teacher Welcome is for all new teaching majors on Wednesday, August 28th @3:30-4:30pm OR Thursday, August 29th @3:30-4:30 in Schindler Education Center, room 220

Communication & Media Open House
- Students, faculty and staff are invited to the Communication & Media Open House on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. in the Interpreters Theater (Lang 40)
- Students considering a double major or minor in the Communication & Media Studies department are especially encouraged to attend.
- Enjoy snacks and door prizes while learning more about the department programs!

- The Office of the Registrar now offers a Google Calendar link for the Dates to Observe, which can be added to anyone’s Google Calendar. The link and the instructions are available on the website here.
- This calendar is a useful tool for anyone on campus, especially faculty and staff, to keep track of important dates each semester. In addition to the printable pdf version for the Fall 2024 semester.
- If you encounter issues adding the calendar, try clearing your cache or reopening your browser. Alternatively, you can add the calendar directly from our website by clicking “+Google Calendar” at the bottom of the page.

- First Half-Semester: Last day to Add course for credit. Approved Academic Student Request required after this date (4:30pm)
- First Half-Semester: Last day to Drop course with No Report (4:30pm)
- First Half-Semester: Last day to Change course to or from Audit (4:30pm)
- NOTE: Students are reminded that only one change per course may be made to or from a non-graded basis. Once a change has been made the student cannot again change that course to or from non-graded credit. Please complete the online form to request this change.
