- Congratulations to Yasemin Sari (Philosophy & World Religions) who was awarded the MidWestOne UNIque Academic Advising Award for the 2022-23 academic year!
- Yasemin was selected by a committee of peers from a nomination portfolio of evidence demonstrating the quality of their undergraduate academic advising in 1) Scheduling / Registration and Progress Towards Degree, 2) Professional Development and Co-Curricular Mentoring, and 3) Student Personal Growth and Engagement.

- The Office of Academic Advising welcomes Amanda Ehlers to the team as an academic advisor. Amanda joins us from Mount Mercy University, where she served as the Director of Student Engagement. She has broad experience working with student organizations, working with New Orientation and Welcome Leaders, and mentoring first-year students to support their likelihood to persist. Amanda earned her Master of Education in Higher Education - Student Affairs from Iowa State University. We're excited that she is joining the UNI community!
