Social Work Course Summer 2025
  • SW 4164 Human Behavior and the Social Environment (4-week May session)
    • Integrates multiple sources of knowledge in the analysis of models of human behavior from a person-environment perspective; attention is paid to structural components in oppression and the importance of difference in shaping life experiences.
    • Social Work majors must receive a minimum of a C in this course. Prerequisite(s): completion of UNIFI Scientific Reasoning requirement.
    • UNI Elective; counts toward Social Work major, Social Welfare minor, and Health and Social Services Certificate
Graphic Technology Courses Fall 2025
  • TECH 2405 Introduction to Packaging: 3D Design and Package Prototyping
    • Monday and Wednesday 10:00 - 11:50 a.m. (informational flyer attached or view here)
    • Introduces the consumer packing industries' materials, processes and technologies.  Provides hands on learning through the creation of 3D designs and the development of a package protype using the AEB laboratories.
    • No prerequisites - this course is seeking all majors who are interested in learning about structural design and 3D prototyping for the packing industry.  No prerequisite knowledge is required.  Experience in Adobe Illustrator is helpful.

  • TECH 4093 Graphic Communication Estimating and Management
    • Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 - 4:45 p.m. (informational flyer attached or view here)
    • This course features Printing United's iLearing+ Print Planning and Estimating curriculum, a program designed for print professionals looking to develop and enhance their strategic planning and cost estimating skills across a variety of print resources.
    • No prerequisites - this course has two prerequisites which will be waived for students who are not Graphic Technology majors.  If a student would like to enroll but does not have the prerequisites, contact Lee Geisinger (lee.geisinger@uni.edu
