History -  Courses for UNIFI and University Electives 
  • The Department of History has created the document Courses for UNIFI and Students Needing University Electives Without Prerequisites for the Spring 2024 semester
  • In addition to the UNIFI sections of US History (HIST 1110 and 1120, Human Condition Domestic) and Making the Modern World (HIST 1210, Human Condition Global), the department is offering multiple sections of Topics courses in the Responsibility, Human Expression and Human Condition Global categories.
  • The department is fully launching its offerings of the History Human Expression course, Engaging Sources (HIST 2011) in Spring 2024 with detailed section information included in the document.
Service Learning (SL) Courses 
  • In Spring 2024, there are 19 courses, across all colleges that are designated as Service-Learning (SL) courses.  Students are encouraged to consider taking an SL course(s) based on evidence of significant educational benefits. 
  • The list of SL courses are listed below or can be found on the Office of Community Engagement's Service-Learning website. Courses can also be found by searching for the Service Learning (SL) attribute through the registrar's office.
