Courses on Solar Eclipses
- The Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences will be offering two courses (each with no prerequisites) in the Spring 2024 semester on Solar Eclipses including interdisciplinary exploration about eclipses' influence on history, art, literature, and music:
- EARTHSCI 3186 Studies in Eclipses - 2 credits | 3:00 pm MW | Will include a trip to Indiana to view the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024 ($350 trip fee)
- EARTHSCI 3400 Topics in Earth and Environmental Sciences: Eclipses - 2 credits | 3:00 pm MW | Lecture only - no trip required as part of this courses
