Graduating students,

It is almost graduation day, and we wanted to send out a few reminders leading up to your day in the McLeod Center! Please reference the attached Commencement Ceremony instructions for a list of ceremony procedures.

Commencement Ceremony Reply

If you are planning on attending commencement you must complete the Commencement Ceremony Reply (found in your MyUNIverse). THIS MUST BE DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you haven't done so already. It is essential for our office to know you are coming to commencement in order to have a seat for you and to have your name announced as you cross the stage.

Arrival Time

You can check-in inside the concourse between the UNI-Dome and McLeod Center. Park in the lots on the west side of the Dome and enter near the granite panther statue:

McLead Center Graduation Check In

What to Bring to the Ceremony

You will need a cap, gown, and tassel to participate in your commencement ceremony. All items should be purchased at the UNI Bookstore. Leave personal belongings with friends and family since there will be no secure place to store these items in the Dome.

Information for Your Guests

·  Your guests do not need to purchase tickets for the event. It is a first come, first serve basis and doors will open 90 minutes before each ceremony. The ceremony is held in the McLeod Center.

·  If your guests need special accommodations (sign interpreter, wheelchair access, etc.), fill out the Accommodated Seating Request Form.

·  A live stream of the ceremony will be available on YouTube.

Commencement Programs

In an effort to be more sustainable, full programs will be placed on student seats and Order of Events for guests will be available at the door. The full printed program will not be provided for guests at the door. Each student can receive up to 2 additional copies of the program after the ceremony by contacting our office.
